I can’t believe I’m actually doing this but I’m about to post some pics of me in my knickers on the web! They do happen to be very special knickers and also the COMFIEST knickers in the WHOLE WORLD!
We call them my Dr Suess knickers and I love ’em. It’s Crafty Mamas new pattern and I believe it is now official. I can’t keep up with this woman. Her work output astounds me. And she’s got 4 kids. I guess that’s what the saying about ask a busy person is all about….
Anyway here’s what you’re all here to see: my new knickers
See what I mean? Aren’t they the bees knees?
Pattern:Crafty Mamas Bare Essentials
Fabric: Stella, Stenzo and an Op shop find.
Crafty Mama Lisa has done it again! Just look at this gorgeous dress with so many cool features. I can’t decide if I love the long hood or the angel sleeves better. So unique and full of cuteness. I can see so many possibilities – winter princess dresses, summer coverups, or even (my personal fave and I so plan to do next winter….) customising to make a Katwise like coat out of recycled jumpers.
I made the long sleeve version and a bit longer than tunic length but not quite knee length. Don’t ask me why. That’s the awesome thing about this pattern, there’s so many options!
Pattern: Crafty Mamas “Away with the pixies”
Ribbon: Farbenmix olive paisley
Embroidery: Milli in love.
I’ll be back with modelled pics soon!
Much excitement. Crafty Mamas has yet another new pattern out. The very flattering and feminine Lovely Layers dress/tunic.
I could have calmly and collectedly considered which fabric choice was ultimately the best match for my wardrobe, made a muslin in cheaper stuff and ironed out creases with the fit. I could have done. Instead I piled in boots and all. Cut up one of my fave fabrics and just got going as soon as I had a chance.
I went with the red Metallicus fabric I bought from Global fabrics while we were in Wellington a while back. Lovely drape and stretch. A good choice for this pattern, really.
I went for the dress length and used my current fave embroidery. You noticed did you?
It’s on the hood too but didn’t get a shot of that. This is as good as it gets:
A fun pattern or what?
